JOSEPH SPIELDENNER* (Swing; Understudy for Cliff, Emcee, Ernst, Schultz) played the role of Grantaire in the national tour and Broadway run of the 25th Anniversary Les Misérables. Other notable credits include Cable in the national tour of South Pacific and Paul in Company at Barrington Stage with Aaron Tveit. He is the resident director of Everblue Arts in Fair Hope, AL. JAMES VÁSQUEZ (Director) is a Resident Artist of The Old Globe Theatre, where he recently reopened the theater with his production of HAIR on the Lowell Davies Festival Stage. He directed the West Coast premieres of Tiny Beautiful Things, Hurricane Diane, the world premieres of American Mariachi, Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Rich Girl, and Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Vásquez received the Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Direction of a Musical in 2018 for In the Heights (Moonlight Stage Productions) and in 2010 for Sweeney Todd (Cygnet Theatre Company). His other recent directing/choreography credits include In the Heights (Dallas Theater Center), American Mariachi (Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theatre Company), Dr. Seuss's The Lorax (as associate director; Children's Theatre Company), The Addams Family and On Your Feet! (Moonlight Stage Productions), West Side Story and Cats (San Diego Musical Theatre), the West Coast premiere of [title of show], Pippin, and Next Fall (Diversionary Theatre), and Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Pageant (Cygnet Theatre Company), as well as developmental workshops at the La Jolla Playhouse and Goodspeed Musicals. He is founder of Daisy3 Pictures, along with Carrie Preston and Mark Holmes. AMANDA ZIEVE (Lighting Design) is delighted to make her debut at Goodspeed. Her work has been seen around the country: Off-Broadway, The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, Signature Theatre Company, Alliance Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Maltz Jupiter Theatre, TheatreWorks, Music Theater Heritage, San Diego Symphony, and at Cygnet Theatre. JAY HILTON (Sound Design) is pleased to continue his long association with Goodspeed Musicals and is happy to be back in this beautiful theatre for the 2022 Season after the nearly two years of pandemic shutdown. Jay has designed countless productions at both The Goodspeed and The Terris Theatre in Chester and recently created sound design for Goodspeed’s successful re-entry programming Goodspeed by the River and A Grand Night for Singing. His work has also been heard on Broadway, National Tours, and at Regional Theatres from coast to coast. In addition to being Goodspeed’s Resident Sound Designer, Jay serves as their Audio Supervisor and has spent much of his time during the pandemic recording, mixing and mastering musical theatre content for streaming platforms including Goodspeed’s 2020 Gala Shakin’ the Blues Away. He and his wife, Goodspeed Artistic Director Donna Lynn Hilton, make their home (and garden) in Hadlyme, Connecticut with Cookie and Macy.

JASON P. HAYES (Wig, Hair & Make-up Design) is a 2016 & 2017 Drama Desk Award Nominee for Outstanding Wig & Hair Design for his work on The Legend of Georgia McBride & The View Upstairs. Hayes was the Hair Supervisor for The Present, starring Cate Blanchett. His Broadway Theatrical design credits include Casa Valentina, The Realistic Jones's, Spring Awakening, Blithe Spirit, 13 The Musical & The Radio City Christmas Spectacular for 10 years. JENNIFER SCAPETIS-TYCER (Dialect Coach) Jennifer’s coaching credits for Goodspeed include Billy Elliot, Passing Through and Hi, My Name is Ben. LAUREN LOVETT (Intimacy Consultant) A graduate of the Juilliard School Drama Division, Lauren has worn many hats in the entertainment business. At first as an actor, then teaching voice and speech in many studios and institutions including UC Santa Barbara, as well as coaching many actors in dialects and character evolution. Recently, with the demand for protocols and safety measures regarding nudity and simulated sex acts on stage and on set, Lauren has sought out education from all three of the primary organizations providing intimacy training. She has been a supportive part of productions on the west coast in both film and theater including Hair at The Old Globe Theater, and To the Yellow House at La Jolla Playhouse. Lauren is honored to be sharing this work with Goodspeed Musicals.

ADAM J. RINEER (Assistant Music Director) is an NYC-based composer, writer, and music director. Their musicals include The Naked Truth (The Green Room 42, The West End Lounge), Obscene, Lewd, Lascivious, and Filthy! (NAMT 15-minute Musical Contest Winner), A Trip To The Moon (The Maas Building, Polyphone Musical Festival Semi-Finalist), and BrandedTM! (Polyphone Musical Festival Finalist).
