Electrics
The Lighting Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient and accurate implementation of lighting designs and providing lighting support for the Goodspeed Opera House, The Terris Theatre, Goodspeed by the River Series and all assigned Goodspeed events and outside projects. The Lighting Supervisor is also responsible for the safe installation and execution of all electrified scenic and prop elements, and provides electrical support/guidance for all production design elements that include an electrified element. The Lighting Supervisor is also responsible for hiring and supervision of all lighting department staff.

Scenic
The Assistant Technical Director (ATD) is responsible for the costing, technical design and technical drafting of scenic elements as approved by the Technical Director (TD) for the Goodspeed Opera House, The Terris Theatre, and all assigned Goodspeed events and outside projects. In addition, the ATD is responsible for purchasing and tracking shop materials, supplies, and equipment. This position also lends aid to the TD and Shop Foreman (SF) in the management and oversight of shop and run crew staff, as well as the maintenance of safe, clean and efficient shop and theatre work spaces.

Wardrobe
The Dresser is responsible for the care, tracking, and maintenance of costume elements during the run of a production. The dresser assists actors with costume changes during performances, ensuring that all costumes are ready for each scene. They work backstage to maintain an organized, efficient costume flow, providing quick adjustments and support to ensure seamless transitions between scenes.

Wigs Staff
The Hair & Wig Stylist is responsible for assisting in the care, management, maintenance, and organization of hairstyles, wigs, and makeup as well as developing and running wig tracks for assigned productions.

Auditions
Announcing the Annie Audition Experience
Goodspeed Musicals is on the search for local Connecticut children to play Annie and the orphans in our 50th Anniversary production of Annie this fall! Whether your “little girl” has performed on stage a hundred times or puts on shows in the backyard every weekend, we encourage 8-to-12-year-olds of all experience levels to join us for the first step of the audition process – the “Annie Audition Experience”.
The final Audition Experience will be on Sunday April 12.
