Electrics
The Overhire Electrician assists the Lighting Supervisor and Head Electrician in the safe, efficient and accurate implementation and maintenance of assigned lighting designs.

Scenic
The Assistant Technical Director (ATD) is responsible for the costing, technical design and technical drafting of scenic elements as approved by the Technical Director (TD) for the Goodspeed Opera House, The Terris Theatre, and all assigned Goodspeed events and outside projects. In addition, the ATD is responsible for purchasing and tracking shop materials, supplies, and equipment. This position also lends aid to the TD and Shop Foreman (SF) in the management and oversight of shop and run crew staff, as well as the maintenance of safe, clean and efficient shop and theatre work spaces.

The Carpenter/Stagehand Swing is responsible for assisting the scenic department in the creation, load-in, and strike of production elements. In addition, this position is the main coverage for stagehands and show run crew for all Goodspeed productions at the Goodspeed Opera House and the Terris Theatre.

The GOH Stage Supervisor is responsible for the operation of all scenic moves, coordinating with the scene shop on any maintenance or repair needs during performances and rehearsals for productions at the Goodspeed Opera House. The Stage Supervisor supervises and trains a crew of Stagehands in safe stage operation practices. Additionally, they lend support to the carpentry scene shop in the implementation, load-in, and strike of all scenic elements.

Wardrobe
The Dresser is responsible for the care, tracking, and maintenance of costume elements during the run of a production. The dresser assists actors with costume changes during performances, ensuring that all costumes are ready for each scene. They work backstage to maintain an organized, efficient costume flow, providing quick adjustments and support to ensure seamless transitions between scenes.

Auditions
Announcing the Annie Audition Experience
Goodspeed Musicals is on the search for local Connecticut children to play Annie and the orphans in our 50th Anniversary production of Annie this fall! Whether your “little girl” has performed on stage a hundred times or puts on shows in the backyard every weekend, we encourage 8-to-12-year-olds of all experience levels to join us for the first step of the audition process – the “Annie Audition Experience”.
The final Audition Experience will be on Sunday April 12.
