ROB BERMAN (Music Supervisor/Arranger) In 15 years as music director of Encores! at New York City Center, Rob conducted over 35 shows culminating in the current Broadway production of Into the Woods. Broadway music supervision and conducting includes: Bright Star; Dames at Sea; Finian’s Rainbow; White Christmas; The Pajama Game; The Apple Tree; Wonderful Town; and Promises, Promises. Winner of the Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Direction and six-time nominee for The Kennedy Center Honors on CBS.

JAY HILTON (Sound Designeris pleased to continue his long association with Goodspeed Musicals and is happy to be back in this beautiful theatre after the nearly two years of pandemic shutdown. Jay has designed countless productions at both The Goodspeed and The Terris Theatre in Chester and recently created sound design for Goodspeed’s successful re-entry programming Goodspeed by the River and A Grand Night for Singing. In addition to being Goodspeed’s Resident Sound Designer, Jay serves as their Audio Supervisor and has spent much of his time during the pandemic recording, mixing and mastering musical theatre content for streaming platforms including Goodspeed’s 2020 Gala Shakin’ the Blues Away. He and his wife, Goodspeed Artistic Director Donna Lynn Hilton, make their home (and garden) in Hadlyme, Connecticut with Cookie and Macy.

DAN DeLANGE (Orchestrations) has scored for many professional composers & arrangers. His work has been heard on Broadway, Carnegie Hall, London’s West End, national & European tours and regional theaters across the country including over 50 productions at Goodspeed Musicals.

JOSHUA CLAYTON (Additional Orchestrations) has been a member of the music department in various capacities for many Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional shows over the years. Recently, his work as an orchestrator was heard in the US National tour of Lincoln Center Theater’s award-winning revival of My Fair Lady. He also provided new orchestrations for the US national tour and London productions of LCT’s revival of The King And I. He collaborated with Jonathan Tunick on the National Theatre of London’s revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Follies. Other orchestration credits include Titanic (Signature Theatre & Milwaukee Repertory Theatre); Brigadoon (Goodman Theatre); The New Yorkers and The Cradle Will Rock (New York City Center); Meet Me In St. Louis, On A Clear Day, Finian’s Rainbow, and Donnybrook (Irish Repertory Theatre). He currently serves as the Supervisor of Music Administration and Score Restoration for the New York City Center Encores! Series.

SARA BRIANS (Associate Director/Choreographer) is a NYC-based director, choreographer, and educator. Her Broadway credits include Matilda, Billy Elliot, White Christmas, The Terms of My Surrender, After the Night and the Music, and 42nd Street. Sara most recently directed and choreographed Rock of Ages. Selected choreography credits: Jesus Christ Superstar, Cabaret, Godspell, Snapshots, Spring Awakening, and Follies* (*NYIT Award Outstanding Choreography) as well as new musicals, Newton’s Cradle and The Trouble With Doug. Sara’s work has taken her from Broadway to England, Scotland and Wales, to Denmark and across the world. BRADLEY G. SPACHMAN* (Production Stage Manager) After our “Pandemic Pause,” Brad is very happy to be back in our beloved Opera House—his artistic home for over 25 years! Some of his favorite productions include Redhead, George M!, Show Boat, and A Connecticut Christmas Carol. He sends a heartfelt “Thank You!” to everyone who made our productions this season (and who make them happen every night). Although his time away from the Opera House was productively spent baking and building, he has yet to appear on any flavor of Law & Order.
